A focused album designer that complements Pic-Time
Pic-Time is strong where it matters to a lot of studios: beautiful galleries, smart automations and a sales engine that genuinely sells. Album design inside any sales platform, though, is one feature among many, and it shows when you are deep in a 60-page wedding book.
Cuppafolio is the dedicated album step. It does not touch galleries, automations or sales, so it never overlaps with Pic-Time. You design the album in a focused browser editor and walk away with a print-ready PDF you own, then keep selling through Pic-Time exactly as before.
The difference is in what we deliberately leave out.
A narrow tool, an honest deal, and a file that is genuinely yours.
It does one job well
No gallery, no CRM, no store bolted on. A focused album designer that respects, rather than replaces, the tools you already pay for.
You own the export
Every album leaves as a print-ready PDF with no watermark and no per-album unlock fee. It is a real deliverable you keep, not a file held hostage.
Any lab, no markup
We do not print or fulfil anything. Your PDF goes to the album supplier you already trust, with no print margin quietly skimmed along the way.
Dedicated beats general-purpose for albums
A sales platform optimises for selling. An album designer optimises for the spread. Cuppafolio's templates, snapping and layout behaviour are built for one outcome: a balanced, print-ready album you are proud to deliver.
Because the file is a standard PDF you own, it is not tied to one fulfiller. Print it with the lab that gives you the binding, paper and margin you want.

When you want the album step to be its own thing
The album step should be the fun part. Too often the tooling gets in the way.
Album design bolted onto a sales platform never feels like the focus
You want the print-ready file in hand, not locked to one fulfiller
A dedicated, fast designer beats a general-purpose one
A focused tool that does the album job brilliantly.
Everything you need for the album, nothing you don't, and the finished file is always yours.
Fits your stack
Beside your tools, not on top.
Keep Pixieset, Pic-Time, ShootProof and HoneyBook exactly as they are. Cuppafolio handles the album job and hands you a finished PDF.
Smart templates
Designer spreads, ready to fill.
Start from a layout you love and drop in your selects. Smart guides snap to bleed, gutter, centre and neighbours, so every page is balanced, every time.
Print-ready PDF
300 DPI. 3 mm bleed. Yours.
One click and a press-ready PDF lands in your downloads: 300 DPI, sRGB, embedded fonts, optional crop marks. No watermark, no expiry, no per-album unlock fee.
Flat pricing
One monthly price. No per-album fees.
From £19/month. Design as many albums as your plan allows for the same price every month, with no surprise charge when a busy season hits.

Where Cuppafolio sits next to Pic-Time
Cuppafolio is deliberately narrow. It does not deliver galleries, take payments or manage clients, so it never competes with Pic-Time. It picks up exactly one job: turning your final selects into a designed, print-ready album.
Keep Pic-Time for galleries, automations and selling. When the album is what is on your plate, open Cuppafolio, design it from designer templates with smart snapping, and export a PDF you own and send to any lab. Nothing about your existing setup has to change.
- Keep Pic-Time exactly as it is today
- Bring final selects into Cuppafolio for the album step
- Export a print-ready PDF and send it to your album lab
- No migration, no integration to configure, no lock-in

A focused album designer beside Pic-Time
- Pic-Time stays your gallery, automations and sales platform
- Cuppafolio becomes the dedicated album-design step Pic-Time's print store does not focus on
- Designer templates and smart snapping built for the album, not adapted from a sales tool
- Print-ready PDF at 300 DPI you own and send to any premium album lab
- Album margin you control — Pic-Time never sees the album lab transaction
- Flat monthly pricing that does not move with Pic-Time gallery sales volume
“I designed a 40-page wedding album in an afternoon, exported a PDF, and sent it straight to my usual lab. The whole thing felt lighter than any tool I'd used before.”
Good questions, straight answers.
Why would I take album design out of Pic-Time when it's already there?
Pic-Time's album product is part of its print-store and sales suite, so the lab and markup are coupled to the platform. Photographers who want a specific premium album lab, or want to keep the album margin off the platform, design the album in Cuppafolio while leaving Pic-Time as their gallery and sales engine.
Will Cuppafolio clash with Pic-Time automations?
No. Cuppafolio does not do galleries, proofing or sales, only album design. The two tools never overlap, so your Pic-Time automations and sales flow keep running exactly as they do today — Cuppafolio just intercepts the album-design step in between.
Does this mean I lose Pic-Time's sales automations on the album?
If you currently sell printed albums through Pic-Time's store and automations, yes — that sale would move outside Pic-Time once you switch to a Cuppafolio-and-external-lab flow. Most photographers who make this move are already selling albums as a custom-quoted product rather than store-listed, so the automation loss is small or none.
Is there a Pic-Time integration?
No, and that is deliberate. Cuppafolio does one job, so the handoff is just exporting your selects from Pic-Time and dragging them into a Cuppafolio project. No integration to configure, nothing to break when one vendor updates its API.
What does this cost me beyond Pic-Time?
Cuppafolio is £19/month Solo, £39/month Studio, £79/month Agency, on top of your Pic-Time plan. For photographers selling premium printed albums regularly, the lab-margin gain from choosing your own album supplier usually offsets the added Cuppafolio cost within a few albums per quarter.
Can I still sell the album through Pic-Time?
Yes. Cuppafolio produces the designed, print-ready album as a PDF. How you sell or fulfil it, including through Pic-Time, stays entirely your call.
Will the two tools conflict?
No. Cuppafolio does not do galleries, proofing or sales, so there is nothing to reconcile. The boundary is clean.
